The pacing for this book didn't work quite as well as the first book for me but it has some fantastic twists and an ending to finish up the duology. This whole duology had such amazing twists and reveals! I really enjoyed it.

Do not waste your time reading this series. I rated the first book 4 stars. The plot was interesting and the characters had potential really good character development arcs, but this book just threw that all out the window. It’s almost like the author wrote the first book and didn’t have a plan for the second one. There is SO MANY plot holes and plot points that didn’t add up. The characters acted very different in the second book and not in a good way. The first book had so much potential, and the second one just ruined it.
