So cozy & lovely! If I could choose a book to gift to a child, this would be high up on the list - it was an easy read, but I still loved it.

The Secret Garden by Frances Hodgson Burnett is a classic children’s novel about Mary Lennox, a lonely and spoiled girl sent to live with her uncle in the English countryside after her parents die. While exploring the estate, she discovers a locked, neglected garden and begins restoring it with the help of new friends, including her sickly cousin Colin. As the garden blooms, so do the characters—transforming through friendship, nature, and healing.

a delightful book that i never got around to reading as a child, but i felt my inner child beaming with every page turned. such a lovely story that makes me wish i could live inside of it

"If you look the right way, you can see that the whole world is a garden."

It's a simple story beautifully told, of two little kids who were each spoiled and bratty in there own way, yet i still fell in love with the them. I can't wait to read this again when my daughter is a little older.
