This was a fast-paced action thriller with some romance added to the mix. An extra 20 pages at the end to provide more explanation and resolution would have been nice.

I have really been enjoying Johansen's Eve Duncan series. This book takes a little detour from Eve's story, though, and instead tells the story of Alex Graham, who is Eve's friend Sarah's friend. (See? detour!) It's very good, although I wonder sometimes how far-fetched the plots of Johansen's books are. Are there really people out there who are actively plotting some of the stuff that happens in these books?

Anyway, another winning novel from Iris Johansen. Definitely recommend, but although this could be a standalone novel, I definitely suggest that you start from the beginning of the series or else you'll miss out on some of the key issues that take place throughout the entire series.

It was OK. Didn't really grab my attention, but kept my interest. This is marked as an Eve Duncan book, but it isn't. It contains Logan, Sarah, and Galen, and two new characters Judd Morgan and Alex Graham. no Eve.

This is a stupid candy fun book and is really good at being that. If you were to try to take this book super seriously you would probably enjoy it a lot less.
