Well I gotta say that I knew what I was getting into with this one but I still managed to be destroyed emotionally by it.. It truly was beautifully tragic and heartbreaking but also hopeful? Yeah I don't quite know how to explain but those that know... Know

I was gutted when I read Manacled and I am gutted again after finishing Alchemised! I had a completely immersive experience because I listened to the playlist put together by SenLinYu as I read and my poor heart had a devastating experience. This book is just so tragically beautiful. 

SenLinYu managed to create a unique world and magic system, while maintaining the parts we loved about Manacled. I’m beyond impressed with their writing craft. This book is perfection!
