What a great start to a series. I love the Montgomery family and how close of a bond they have. I can't wait to read the next one.

The tropes you can look forward to: opposites attract, bdsm, second chance at love, attraction at first sight and found family.

how quickly did I consume the book: I read it in one sitting!

I had mix feelings about this book. I obviously enjoyed it enough to read it in one go but that was probably because of the fast pace, good plot twist and the excellent smut. I felt that the writing was lacking a little like certain things weren't worded in the way they could have been and the plot itself could have been much stronger. I also wanted more development between the couple before they went straight into a serious relationships.

I loved everything involving the tattoos and their own personal hobbies and relationships with those around them. I don't have anything bad to stay about either of the main characters, just that I wished we'd gotten more of them but I'm sure book two will quench that thirst. The couple was sweet and I definitely found myself rooting for them even though it was too fast paced for my tastes and their sex life was excellent and Carrie Ann seriously has a talent for good bdsm smut in a lighthearted fun way.

The Montgomery family was one of the major highlights of this book. Carrie Ann Ryan really made you curious about each of their lives and stories and made you want more books to explore them. I'm really looking forward to seeing the rest of their stories and I'm sure each book will be better than the next as I've found with series like this.

Overall, I recommend this book if you're looking for fast burn romance with good smut, excellent side characters and a really awesome family. Also of course, if you like buff men with tattoos and some shocking plot twists you don't see coming from a romance novel.
