So happy to be back in Rose Ridge with the Stone Riders. And getting to read Killian and Laura’s story finally, I mean we all knew these two were going to be fire!

I gotta say Mr. Killian Quinn took me by surprise. I was going in with the mindset that he was all hard with how he was treating Laura but this man…this man you guys! I don’t want to give it away because once you read it for the first time you will get it, just know he is wonderful.
Where there times I was upset with how he acted, I mean yes of course it is a MC we all get upset with them lol.

Little Miss Laura, she took and gave right back just as good! I loved her feisty side. Her take no crap from anyone, even a MC president. But I really loved and enjoyed reading her loyalty side the most! For someone who grew up in the public eye, I was expecting her to do not care about herself and those closest to her, but I should have known that wasn’t who she was.

I loved everything about this couple and this book! I was shocked at times with some of the twist I didn’t see coming. This book and series is a top 5 favorite for me!

I loved the first book in this series but somehow Laura and Killian swooped right in and stole my heart. This book gave me everything I was looking for - the banter, the chemistry, the angst! This couple had incredible passion, not only for each other but for their entire MC family. The way Laura was immediately ready to fight for them, goodness she was a perfect match for the president of the MC. Also, the steam *chef's kiss* Seriously, I really loved this couple. Oh, and that little peek at what's to come? Talk about leaving me wanting more. I can't wait.

ok i definitely didn’t enjoy this couple quite as much but it was still a pretty good read. here’s the thing. i was a little confused on the timeline and location of things. idk maybe it was clear but that was kinda confusing. anyway most of the time i also was just gathering as many crumbs of the next two couples as i could. i’m definitely more excited for those two than i was about this book… anyway yeah

I really enjoyed the second book in this series! I feel like Killian had the weight of the world on his shoulders as he took over the MC. He had political dynamics to deal with, as well as self-esteem/self-worth issues, along with battling for his feelings for Laura - he had a LOT going on.

I loved the dual timeline/flashbacks from each of their POVs to help us understand how deep their feelings were for one another. The pebbles - ugh swoon. Why he calls her Daisy - 🥰. His level of protectiveness - yes please. Killian loved Laura before he even knew he could & he had to try so hard to control how he felt when he was trying to be a leader and keep her safe.

I really liked Laura’s spirit in this book. Her want to be independent but also helpful to the Club. She naturally became a part of the group just by her fierceness and loyalty. She was also putting herself and her heart first in so many cases, which you don’t see - she was clear from the beginning what she wanted from Killian & knew she wouldn’t be chosen second.

Definitely recommend reading this series in order!
