Good read. Good character development ....including finding things out bit by bit. A bit predictable here and there, but not always. A good solid read.

This was, sadly, disappointing for me - I’ve come to expect much more from Meg Mitchell Moore and this fell short in a lot of ways. Probably a 2.5 star, really. I wasn’t charmed by any of the characters or their relationships, the island lacked the goofiness of a Hilderbrand summer book, and the characters weren’t nearly as developed or realistic as J. Courtney Sullivan’s. The dialogue was cheesy in parts, and about 200 pages could have been left out easily. Because I loved The Admissions and The Arrivals so much, I’ll probably try out Moore’s other books still, but I really hope they’re more nuanced than this one.
