This book tells you exactly what it is - “Let other authors bring order to chaos. I bring chaos to order.” The plot is told to you at the very beginning and is put on hold as we learn about the characters and how they and the author view the world around them.

To me, Vonnegut is the greatest American satirist of his era and continues to shine here. He takes on the good and the bad equally in a way that sticks with me better than any other author.
