i read like 15% of it and then started skipping and only reading dialogue and some of the "spice", i got to 25% like this, i couldn't take it anymore, everything was so convoluted, like, there was so much plot but none of it was good

While I appreciate the writer’s intention of writing a dark w/w romance, this one wasn’t that and it certainly wasn’t for me.
I really wish this had been proofread and edited more vigorously. I also wish the characters’ relationship was more developed. Because their relationship seems to be almost completely based on sex and physical attraction, you’d think their sex scenes would be spicier and filled with more tension but they fall flat & become highly repetitive. Wrt ‘energy’ and attraction- lots of telling & no showing.

This book was a lot. I was excited to read a “dark sapphic romance” but it was definitely way to dark for me. The rape and sexual assault scenes were way to graphic, I had to skip a decent amount.

Although a few editing errors and mistakes I really enjoyed this book. I love how deep the meaning ago the book is. It was also hot so that’s a plus!
