Let me start off by saying dark romance fuels my soul.
And my soul has definitely been satiated. It’s water for this thirsty bitch

My depraved mind enjoyed this one. It's dark and so twisted. Tax is cross between Twitch (Raw) and Matthew Sky (Night Owl). If you didn't like either book, don't bother with this one. There are few over the top moments but overall, I was glued to my Kindle.
He's light and dark, forgiveness and vengeance, beauty and ugliness.

I honestly don’t know how I feel about this one.
I hit three stars but it was a genuine 2.5
I’m literally on the fence.
I loathed Mia. She had the backbone of an invertebrate.
I don’t care how much you love someone, there are things that are simply unforgivable and I’m not talking about the deplorable things he did to her in the name of revenge.
Did I hate Tax? I wanted to. I often did but I also pitied him. Not the best way to view the big, brooding mmc. It kind of takes away from his big bad persona when you just feel sad for him.
Worst part about this book was that it hooked me. I was drawn in and kept captive.
I needed to know what happened despite spending most of the book yelling about the ridiculousness of the characters.
It’s one of those books I’m glad I read but I’m also glad it’s over.
