After reading Heartless to say i’m heartbroken is an understatement, everything about this story had me hoping and every-time my hope was ripped away from me. Yet I still really enjoyed it, but also i’m longing for more. knowing that this a standalone and the ending hurts so bad. This is a one of those stories that will have me thinking of it forever. 

Alright so spoilers. I loved the romance and the yearning between Cath and Jest. Jest is so lovable and charismatic. The dynamic between Cath and Jest was so refreshing. I really liked that Jest wasn’t the copy paste “bad boy” love interest, he was actually really sweet and funny. Jest is witty but he isn’t cocky or conceited, and he also really does care for Cath. The way that he always checks in with her and tries to push her to do what’s best for her. Jest did everything for her and he even died to save her.
