I didn't realize how much I enjoyed the vladimir todd series until I was all finished. I was satisfied reading them and liked the story but once I was completely through it really hit me and I thought they were wonderful. I was a little disappointed with some of the things that happened in this last installment. I didn't like that nelly died, and I hated that eddie became a vampire. He didn't deserve that what's so ever. I was hoping vlad would drain him completely sometime through the series. Joss was not my favorite character either but I am going to read the spin off.

This installment of the Vladimir Tod series, definitely did not disappoint! I really enjoy Heather Brewers attention to detail and endless twists! Never a boring moment in the life of our young half-vampire...

3.5. This was one of those books I listened to while I waited for a book to be delivered in the mail. Out of all the books in this series, I felt this one was kind of underwhelming. I didn’t trust Vlad’s dad from the beginning and you’d think over the course of the high years Vlad would be less gullible, but he still acted the same as he did from book one. I guess I expected a little more character development and the side characters always seemed like a “in the back of my head” person. Where throwing in a death or two of them didn’t bother my emotions much.
Still happy to have read the series just expected a little more.

I honestly don’t know how to feel right now. Overall I enjoyed the series as a whole, but this final book has a twist you don’t see coming until you get to it. I always got a bad vibe from Vlad’s dad, but I never imagined that he made Mellina his drudge just so he could produce the pravus and even though he claimed to love her, he never did.

His father is alive. His ex-bestfriend is trying to kill him, again. We have the last installment of this wonderful saga. I am not going to lie, there were some things that were kind of expected, but there were so many plot twists, that I was not even sure what was happening anymore.
"Vampires, after all, didn't sparkle."
The sarcastic tone that Heather Brewer is able to bring into the story is what makes this an amazing read. I have to agree, I have no understanding as to why so many deadlines on the story. That might be my only complain, but it was so well written, that it answered all my questions. I am extremely amazed on how she managed to tie all the knots. It was definitely worth the read.

I love the ending to this series. I want a sequel series. The ending seemed slightly rushed but not overly so.
