For the amount of money I payed for this book on my Kindle wasn't worth it. I found TFIOS better than this book and I wasn't crazy about TFIOS either.

Am amazed by this book. Definately not a standard teenage sicklit, but a beautiful story about hope, fear, love and friendship (and a little bit about cancer too). Although it has a very heavy subject, the book made me smile instead of feel sad and made me realize how lucky I am and how beautiful live can be.

(Plus, it made me craving for a trip to Australia).

OMG i thought this book was AMAZING. sooo happy i actually recognised place in it too aha.... thank you dad for moving to Perth and taking me with you... :P

I would recommend this book to anyone who enjoyed TFIOS.... has a much happpier ending :D i do think though i should maybe give my feels a break from cancer stories and the like.
i always say this but...... i wish there was more to it.... i want to know if Zac survives.
but i guess i'll just have to assume aha

i really enjoyed this book! it reminded me A LOT of my all time favourite book, The Fault In Our Stars by John Green. the style is really similar, and at times i swear it was John who was writing it.

I really liked this book because It’s not conventional. It’s different from the usual love stories that are all the same just told different ways. It’s an angry book for sure, but it’s an anger that has to be worked through and finished. The plot didn’t have much, that’s true, but it had a lot of feeling.

This was an enjoyable but ultimately forgettable read.

Things I liked:
- Zac was delightful and I loved his internal monologue
- Lady Gaga references (so dated yet so great)
- Alpacas!
- Zac’s family was adorable and so sweet
- Mia was downright unlikeable but voicey as HELL

This book didn’t do anything wrong, but it just didn’t strike a chord in me and I won’t remember it a few months down the road. It’s the type of book that never fully engrossed me, but that meant it was the perfect read to dip in and out of during tram rides. It was entertaining but not much more than that - and that’s okay.

Do you ever start reading a book and know you are going to love it? Well this was one of those books. From the beginning I knew I was going to enjoy it. It kind of reminded me of a The Fault In Our Stars meets Flipped type of story that I think most people will enjoy.
