This was not at all what I expected. I expected it to be filthy because of the title and the cover but it ended up being a sweet story about a man falling in love with his best friend. I enjoyed it a lot more than I expected to. I listened to the audiobook for this and the narrator wasn't bag.
I am giddy with love for Big Rock! It's hilarious and sweet. It is a book I'll read over and over. Spencer and Charlotte together...gah... I don't even have words. Insert heart eyes emojis here. Utter perfection.
It was a good, enjoyable read. Detailes review to come.
mf - best friends to lovers - fake relationship - 4 stars. Look, with a cover and blurb like that, I expected the big dick stuff to annoy me, and it did. But I really liked the best friends to lovers aspect.
I so thoroughly enjoyed this. Reading a romance from a male POV was extremely refreshing for me.
Spencer had this incredibly cocky exterior while deep inside a swoon worthy romantic was being hidden. Watching this well-known playboy fall head-over-heels in love with his best friend had me cheesing the whole time.
So so well done. Can't wait for Nick's book!

This book was hilarious! It's always refreshing to read a book written with a male point of view.
Spencer is NYCs confirmed bachelor and playboy. Forced into cleaning up his bad boy ways, Spencer thinks of a genius idea. .. pretend to be engaged with a woman that knows him like the back of her hand, his best friend Charlotte.
In order to avoid a pesky ex, Charlotte agrees to participate in this charade. Somewhere along the way pretending became a little difficult.

Soooooooo, Big Rock is my first ever Lauren Blakely book. *ducks* Yes, I know! I know, people! I'm sitting here asking myself the same questions as to why I waited so long to read her. The truth is, my TBR is HUGE! I know yours are as well, and for some reason this was the book of hers that finally caught my eye. And this is one of those times I'm so happy that an author has an extensive backlist because I'm definitely on the hunt for more of her work. Immediately.

One of the freshest takes on a fake fiancee/friends to lovers romance I've read in a long, long time. I'm going to be fangirling Lauren for a while. Even better it's a standalone! No cliffy, no waiting for book two. Although I think that there's a certain sister and best friend of our dashing hero that need a story. Hint, hint. Seriously though, GO BUY THIS BOOK!
Once you go Blakely, you never go back.

Ok, so until the dedication I never noticed the title has a dirty hidden word in there! Leave to Lauren Blakely to slide that bad boy in there! Obviously, I loved Big Rock, that's a no brainer! Spencer truly is a genuinely good guy! In fact, I need me a real life Spencer Holiday of my own! Big Rock is full of laughs and sexiness! I loved being inside Spencer's head, the guy is hilarious and you just can't help but love him! Charlotte was truly perfect for him and I loved seeing their best friendship turn into a real relationship! Looking forward to Mister Orgasm!
