MI DESEO DE LEER ESTE LIBRO ES INMENSO OK.

Dos años después de la primera vez que leí este libro en inglés, decidí re-leerlo para hacerle la reseña que se merece. Puede que sea una opinión unpopular pero éste es mi favorito de la trilogía.,
Cuando leí [b:Anna and the French Kiss|6936382|Anna and the French Kiss (Anna and the French Kiss, #1)|Stephanie Perkins|https://images.gr-assets.com/books/1358271931s/6936382.jpg|7168450] no lo amé tanto como muchas personas lo hicieron debido a las altas expectativas que tenía, tampoco me emocionaba leer Lola ya que nunca esperé mucho de esos libros pero éste lo espere porque desde que me dijeron que era el libro de Josh.
Admiro el grupo tan variado de personajes que Perkins creó en esta trilogía, tan distintos unos de los otros. La singularidad de Anna, las extravagancias de Lola, el carisma de St. Clair y la creatividad de Cricket me hicieron disfrutar los dos libros anteriores, pero nunca realmente llegué a sentirme identificada con ninguno (aunque los adoré). Por otro lado, Isla es insegura y tímida (también es de mi estatura) y Josh es un incomprendido y lo adoré con todo mi corazón desde el principio (lo pueden comprobar en mi reseña de Anna). Ambos son mi tipo de personaje favorito y me identifico muchísimo con ellos principalmente porque 1. cuando leí sobre la indecisión de Isla, estaba pasando por el mismo proceso de escoger carrera por lo que pude comprender cómo se estaba sintiendo y 2. Josh es el tipo de persona que me atrae (tengo una cosa por los artistas melancólicos). Y puede que suene super trillado, pero adoro la relación de Isla y Josh (a pesar de su instalove), su química es tan adorable que me dolian los cachetes de tanto sonreír.
―Estoy... llegando allí. Estoy empezando a pensar que tal vez está bien ser un lienzo en blanco. Tal vez está bien que mi futuro sea desconocido. Y tal vez, ―dije con otra sonrisa―, está bien estar inspirada por personas que su futuro.
―Va en ambas direcciones, ya sabes.
Enlazo sus dedos congelados con los míos. ―¿Qué?
―Los artistas se inspiran en lienzos en blanco.
Me encanta como la autora presenta tanto los escenarios como las escenas en que se encuentran los personajes (todavía puedo imaginar Barcelona y a Kismet y sentir que estoy ahí). Sin embargo, lo que me impresionó fue su forma tan singular de retratar los defectos de tanto los personajes como las relaciones entre los mismos. Sobretodo, el crecimiento de Isla durante la trama fue increíble. Además, los personajes secundarios como Kurt, Hattie y Sanjita realmente agregaron cosas importantes a la trama.

And finally, we get to Isla. Which is pronounced Eye-la, by the way. Not Iz-la. Just in case you didn’t know.
Isla is probably who I would relate to the most out of the three girls. This story takes us back to the school in Paris, where Isla is now a senior who has a major crush on Josh (one of the secondary characters and best friends of St. Clair from Anna). Isla is quiet and more reserved, but she is fiercely loyal. To her friend Kurt who has autism. To Josh whose she’s been crushing on for a year. And, eventually, to her family, her sisters, though she might have not realized it at first.
This book is different from the first two, in that she and Josh kind of realize they like each other in the very beginning. The book is instead about how they struggle to know their true feelings and they struggle to overcome barriers that try to keep them apart. And ultimately it makes them stronger.
Also they travel to Spain in part of the book and I want to go back to Spain! Someone, please, take me back.
So, overall, this series is beautiful. If you like contemporary or romantic comedy movies, you’d like this series. And each character is so different and so unique and so real, that you’re bound to really connect with at least one, if not all, of them.
And yes, they’re pretty fluffy. But fluffy isn’t always bad.

Later in the book, we’re reunited with all of the main (and most of the secondary) characters. And when I realized at the end that St. Clair was about to propose to Anna, I squealed. Out loud. And smiled like an idiot because I’ve been waiting for this the entire series. I LOVE ST. CLAIR AND ANNA SO MUCH. I want a love like theirs.So, overall, this series is beautiful. If you like contemporary or romantic comedy movies, you’d like this series. And each character is so different and so unique and so real, that you’re bound to really connect with at least one, if not all, of them.

This is clearly the book that I enjoyed most out of this series. I just really liked Josh!!! And his relationship with Isla was wonderful and pretty and natural, even in the whirl-wind, crazy life of the privilleged. Glad I got to read this all during one day, because it just boosted my mood a lot.
This, overall, is a really cute series and I do recommend it if you want a simple, fluffy read.

I was so in love with this book in the beginning. Yet as it went on I started to look at the flaws, I felt that the relationship between Josh and Isla moved really fast and as it went on just felt odd in the middle of the book. The moment I truly fell in love with the book was when St.Clair, Anna, Cricket, and Lola all showed up. I was feverishly reading at that point and loved the whole part with the proposal (is it possible we could ever get to read about that from St. Clair's or Anna's point of view, pretty please Stephanie!)and then the memoir with the happy ending was just icing on the cake! I wish the series was not over I don't want to leave all of the characters that I have fallen so in love with.

This YA author named Stephanie does romance right, unlike a similarly-named author. Isla and the Happily Ever After (+ accompanying previous books) is sweet and romantic enough to be a getaway book but genuine enough to feel just right.

I just loved this book, but I think that my favorite in this series is Anna. Loved the way we see Josh this time, I wonder if I re read Anna would I see Josh and Rashmi differently?
I must admit it made me cry, Stephanie really knows how to write romantic, tender and magical endings to her stories. So, Stephanie... Where's the next book? Because I love everything you write!

First of all...
These two stars are me being generous.
Now, short review:
I hated it. It started off okay but then there was a whole lot of insta love and then boom! they in love.
The rest of the book just dissolved into overdramaticness, srying, panicking, being stupid and then it ended.
Thank fuck.
And, in the end,
Honestly, I don't understand what happened to Stephanie. Book 1 was good, book 2 was okay, what happened with this one?
Very disappointed...
