This was the most fun I've had reading a book in a long time. The plot holds up with twists so well placed I not only don't mind them, I look forward to them. They never seem to fall into the gimmicky category, "twist for the sake of a twist", that so many other comparable books do.

The cast of characters is phenomenal. Each one stands distinctly as their own personal with their own individual voice but also fit together in this quirky misshapen puzzle. The kind that doesn't look like the pieces will fit at first but ends of looking better than the box showed it would. 

The banter and humor between the main six help offset the seriously grime backstories that pop up between this cast of loveable criminals. I cannot wait to dive into the second book.
