Cutesy but i needed a bit more depth to both of their characters? Im very tired of these paper cut out men and women who don't have any personality in romance novels.

I fell victim to the Tik Tok hype train once again. This book has been one of the worst books I have read in a long time. I didn't have high expectations, but this was just... I wanted to read something to get my mind off stress and life, and it did the total opposite.

Things I liked:
- the fast pace i guess?

Things I hated:
- both characters were bland, with no dimension, dumb, and really irritating
-Sophie had no backbone, fell over soo much and was sooo clumsy that I wanted to push her down a flight of stairs myself. The quirky mmc is not my type of beat but this was sooo over the top that it was unreadable.
-"curvy mmc" was just a marketing thing. No character or depth there
-The main guy, whose name I can't even remember cuz he was so boring, was so cocky for no reason, insulted the girl with so many backhanded compliments it was crazy
- Super insta-love
- The guy apparently bullied the girl when they were kids cuz he liked her, but it was just thrown in the text, we got no real backstory or nothing. Same applies to both characters missing parents.
-The third act breakup was just done poorly and the guy didn't grovel at all
- Why did we need to know what every single person was wearing was beyond me

Overall, I wish I could forget this book

Sofie is a lovable, relatable, hot mess! We all have a little Sofie in us. (ok, well I do!!!) She is always staying positive and doesn’t let her clumsiness get her down! She hated Cox because he teased her when they were kids.

Camden Cox is an alpha-male who had a crush on Sofie when they were kids. When he found out she was the same Sofie from his childhood, he was determined to keep her.

Throw these 2 together...add in Vegas....and Vola! A Vegas wedding!

Watching Sofie and Cox navigate “dating their spouse” and living together was pure joy. Seeing Cox fall in love with Sofie and how he took care of her was just perfect!

Claire did it again! These 2 lovable characters, add in the characters from the previous Dirty Martini Running Club girls and you get laughter, some mystery, friendship, and tears. Can’t wait for Nora’s story. These characters just keep getting better and better!

What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas - unless you wake up in the morning and find yourself married!! Sophie and Cox might have started out as childhood frenimies but it takes one night of too much Whiskey to make them become so much more. But will the marriage be one of convenience or will true feelings come into play? The story had me laughing out loud and turning the pages quickly to see where the story went next. Claire Kingsley takes romcom to another level while at the same time allowing her readers to get snippets of characters from other books. Totally entertaining!!
