Like always I loved it. They need to make a TV show or at least a movie. Everyone knows the town is supernatural!

I think this is my favorite book in the series so far. I hope they only get better from here. The only bad thing I have to say is that I am getting really tired of Poppy whining about her dead-and-gone ghost boyfriend. They date for like a minute and she is just all in pieces over his departure and can't/won't move on from him. It's kind of annoying.

This book was just a disappointment. Not enough substance in the plot. Marlene Perez should either end the series or actually write about something that will take me through tons of emotions, not boredom.
Yet, I still have high hopes for Dead Is...

'Dead Is Just a Rumor' is the fourth book in Marlene Perez's "Dead Is" series.

The quality of this series does not diminish in the fourth book. Daisy Giordano, now a high school senior as well as a budding psychic and telepath, is her usual spunky, curious, coffee-craving self. This time, she's worrying about how college will affect her relationship with Ryan Mendez, adjusting to living with her father Rafe again, puzzling over the mystery of Lil the jukebox, worrying about blackmail letters the town of Nightshade's supernatural residents have been receiving, and taking cooking lessons with a famous chef. Whew! That's a lot to cram into the first semester of senior year, but the fast pace is some of what makes these tales so fascinating. Kudos to Ms. Perez for keeping it interesting, and for working in the reference to Homer's [b:The Odyssey|1381|The Odyssey|Homer|http://d202m5krfqbpi5.cloudfront.net/books/1349112871s/1381.jpg|3356006].

I can't wait for the next book, [b:Dead Is Not An Option|7430203|Dead Is Not An Option (Dead Is, #5)|Marlene Perez|http://d202m5krfqbpi5.cloudfront.net/books/1287973754s/7430203.jpg|9408525]. I want to know what will happen to Ryan and Daisy when they go away to college.

This series is just plain fun! The characters are adorable, the plots full of supernatural fun, twists, and a bit of teenage angst/romance/drama. The books are quick and easy reads. Definitely enetertaining. Will be putting the next book on my "to-read" list.
