I have mixed feelings about this book. I have loved the series since high school and was extremely excited for this book. Meg Cabot, as always, is very funny and up to date with American Pop culture but I can't stop feeling a little disappointed because the writing and content felt more YA than adult.

This book was such a blast. I've always loved Meg Cabot's books and writing and to o back to a series that I started when I was 13 was great. I loved every minute of it and I'm glad we got to see Mia again.

I absolutely love this book. It is amazing! I love all the conflict and everything in it the only thing that I wished I understood was the lord of the rings things from that series to appear but that is only because I have not read or watched lord of the rings.  Just a fair warning this is not for teens and has a lot of sex refrences in it and more tmi info than i ever wanted to read.

(I suggest reading all the other books in order so you understand everything

More objectively Royal Wedding is 3 stars maximum, but I'm hopelessly in love with it. It's like meeting your old friends and seeing that you still click, that you can spend hours talking about everything and nothing. I laughed out loud, I was teary, I was 'awwwwing' and 'ooohhhing'.
And added value for me? Mia and I are again same again (soon-to-be-26), even though she is much more accomplished that I am...
Anyway, if you like ya Princess Diaries, you will love this book, even with all slightly played-out or cliché plot devices and really predictable plot.

A fun romp through the world of grown-up Mia Thermopolis! How I’ve missed reading about her — when I was a teen, the early books in the Princess Diaries series were just being written. I remember loving the movie as well — I actually want to rewatch it now for old time’s sake.

Definitely would recommend for anyone who has met and loved Mia in previous books. Yay for the Princess of Genovia and her obsessive journal-writing habit! (Which is actually one of the things that spurred on my lifelong love of journaling...)

I liked it... But I also think that rereading the entire series right before was detrimental to the time jump. With eight years gone by there was so much lost time that was never expounded upon; such as Mia's parents' relationship and the friendships she has in life. The plot twist at the end was also so sudden and came way before I ever thought it would...

I really liked this book, but it felt like something was missing from the ending, but I'm not sure what. It also felt like it wrapped up too neatly, too quickly. But it was fun, as usual, if more serious than the other books in the series. It just left me wanting more, wheras Forever Princess felt like an ending.

Absolutely perfect! The drama and romance characteristic of this series (and Meg Cabot's writing) fills the pages. Absolutely perfect book about their wedding, loved every minute of it!

Really a great book for all the nostalgia feels.
