Michael in this is much more attractive in this book. There's something about older men that I love... do I have a fetish??
Mia is INFINITELY better in this book than in the other books. partially because she is 26 and not a whiny teenager anymore. ok, it is totally because of that. She is so responsible and mature. I'd love more books with this Mia!
Olivia is so cute in this! So cute, I might start reading her series. (I have a problem...)
Lilly is much better in this too also thanks to her maturity and her humour. In the other books, she is this annoying lil brat who is jealous of Mia. but in this book, she is much more mature. love her.
Grandmere is grandmere. nothing to add. she is still the saving grace of the book. So sarcastic and funny.

it's hard for me to believe there are only 11 of these. they loom large in my mental landscape. at the same time, I can't believe there are 11 of these and that I've read them all, some multiple times. this latest read is absolutely delightful. as a long running fan of the princess diaries series, mia's hilarious POV, and michael's oof factor: this was a perfect book.

เล่มนี้เป็นเรื่องราวของมีอาวัย 26 (ถูกต้อง! 26แล้ว นักอ่านก็อายุไล่เลี่ยกันนี่แหละ คิดแล้วมันเศร้า) ที่กำลังจะแต่งงานกับแฟนหนุ่มของเธอ ไมเคิล ซึ่งตอนนี้เป็นเจ้าของบริษัทหุ่นยนต์ทางการแพทย์ที่โด่งดัง เรียกได้ว่าเป็นมหาเศรษฐีดีๆนี่แหละ มีอาต้องวุ่นตั้งแต่การจัดงานแต่ง เตรียมชุด ปัญหาปาปารัสซี่ หนุ่มสโตเกอร์ที่ตามเธออยู่ พ่อที่ขับรถซิ่งแล้วโดนจับ ปัญหาชาวต่างด้าวที่เข้าประเทศ และยังไม่รวมปัญหาอีกสองสามเรื่องที่ต้องอุบไว้อ่านเอง เอาเป็นว่าปัญหาเยอะแยะตาแป๊ะไก่มาก เราอ่านเล่มนี้แล้วรู้สึกว่าหนังสือชุดนี้กำลังก้าวไปเป็นชุดChic-Litอย่างเต็มตัว ด้วยเสน่ห์ของความตลกและการเล่าเรื่องแบบbabblingที่มีมาตั้งแต่เล่มแรก ทำให้เรายังรู้สึกว่าหนังสือเล่มนี้ยังสนุกอยู่ อีกส่วนหนึ่งคือ เราคิดถึงตัวละครทุกตัว เรายังอยากรู้เรื่องราวของแต่ละคน ความรักของมีอาและไมเคิล ซึ่งเล่มนี้เล่าเรื่องได้น่ารัก ไมเคิลดูเป็นคนมีความห่วงใยและเป็นสามีที่สมบูรณ์แบบ แม้ว่าจะโผล่มาแบบเป็นตัวประกอบมากกว่า
นี่เราตั้งตารอเล่มหน้ามากเลย อ่านเล่มนี้จบก็ยังรู้สึกว่าเรื่องราวน่าจะมีต่อนะ เราก็ยังอยากรู้ต่อด้วย เห็นหลายรีวิวออกมาแย่ เราก็พอเข้าใจนะ จริงๆเรื่องราวในเล่มนี้ไม่ค่อยมีอะไรเท่าไหร่ ใช้แรงแฟนคลับเหนี่ยวแน่นให้การเป็นแรงขับเคลื่อนให้อ่านจนจบได้ คนที่คาดหวังเยอะๆก็คงจะผิดหวัง แต่สำหรับเรา เราค่อนข้างโอเค เราคิดถึงสำนวนการเขียนแบบพล่ามไร้สาระที่มีอาชอบเขียน ชอบวิธีการเล่าเรื่องแบบนี้

I grew up reading Mia's diaries so, naturally, I got really excited when I found out there's gonna be an adult installment. And it was just good old Mia, almost 10 years older, but still the same in so many ways and that's why I loved it. It kind of felt like I'm 14 again :) I'm just really happy Meg wrote this and Mia got her perfect ending just as she deserved. :)
I read the first three installments of the series in 2007. It was one of my first book which weren't some adventure and kinda' first romantic book. It was fun and amazing. I think I read book 4,5 and 6 but I am not sure now.
The reason for 4 stars is that it reminded me of the old times and kind of my childhood and it felt like talking to an old friend again.

Was this book amazing? Well, no, not really. Did I enjoy it? I really, really did. It was just a good, fitting ending to the end of this series. I mean some of it was a little out there, like Mia's father having ANOTHER daughter (come ON) but that wasn't so bad. Also everyone just kind of brushed over the death of Mr. G like it wasn't that big of a deal!? There was a lot of filler seeming stuff, it dragged in places, but over all I was pretty happy with it!
