This was the book that everyone wanted and it did not let me down. In fact it exceeded my expectations. I sincerely hope that Meg Cabot continues to write more adult PD books about this next step of Mia's life. Absolutely loved it.

The Princes Diaries Royal Wedding was everything I could have wanted it to be. As a fan of the original series, reading the continued adventures of Mia Thermopolis was like coming home. The book was like when you see a friend after a long period of time and pick up right where you left off. I am excited for the idea of possible future books in Mia's life as she proceeds further into adulthood. Thank You Meg Cabot for writing this glorious continuation of The Princess Diaries.

If you were a fan of the original series as a teenager, as I was, then this is a good fun read. It's nice to see how Meg Cabot has managed to keep Mia's adult narrative voice so truthful to her original series. Even some of the issues I had going in to it - how realistic is it that Mia would still be with her high school boyfriend? etc - were quite nicely dealt with. I thought the ending was possibly a bit too neatly tied up, and for a book entitled "Royal Wedding" I expected more scenes at the actual wedding! But overall it was extremely enjoyable.

I'm not aware of whether there are any plans to continue and turn this into a wider adult Mia series, as the ending leaves that possibility for that quite open - personally I hope that this is more of a one-and-done kind of situation. Good for if you want something light, nostalgic and fluffy.

I might be biased with my five stars but I don't care. I made a good choice, in my teen years, to love Michael Moscovitz and this book proves it yet again.

It is everything I ever wanted out of a "more adult" version of the Princess Diaries. I didn't even know this book was going to come out 'cause I thought the series had ended for good. When I heard about this, I literally screamed. I also read this book in under 24 hours, and that says a lot.

The book has many cliches in it, yes. It has so many things happening in it but all in consideration, it is still a Mia Thermopolis book. It is definitely a part of the series and it was everything I wanted even though I didn't know I wanted those things. I don't know how it would translate to a person who has not read the first series at the right time in their life. I don't know how I would've liked it if it wasn't a Princess Diaries book. But, yet it is, and it's perfect.

Oh my gosh I finally finished this book!! I am so so happy that I came back to it too! I was extremely satisfied with how all of the characters story lines ended up and tied together. I was surprised and delighted, as I always am when I read one of the books in this series. A series I would highly recommend, and one which I suspect gas become one of my favorites. Love you Meg Cabot!

It was fine. I picked this up for nostalgia only and I feel I would have liked this better when I was a teenager and read the others but it was still an okay light read, and everything got tied up in a nice little bow.

What a wonderful finale book! I will miss this series so much - it has been like a warm hug right when I needed it the most.
This book jumps ahead many years and I like how the characters have definitely grown up too. Though it is the same style, the tone is different which is appropriate for the time. Mia still is trying to make everyone happy and puts a lot on her plate. I love her and Michael so much and this book made me very happy. Seeing al my favorite characters grown up and pursuing their dreams had me giddy. I will forever love this series!

I loved The Princess Diaries and I grew up reading those books when I was a tween. So, revisiting Adult Mia feels very nostalgic. It's weird to relate to a character who has nothing in common with you, but that was the beauty of the original series.

Overall, Royal Wedding is as much as modern day fairy tale as can be. It's okay. It's something to indulge in and it's definitely a pick-me-up book that you can just relax and laugh with.
