Maybe I'm too far removed from this series to be more thrilled. I liked the first two thirds but the last just seemed very mish-mashed and thrown together.
It seems impossible to be unbiased and objective when reviewing this book, given the fact that this was not only one of the first series I got into but also a huge part of my teenage years.
It absolutely is full of over-the-top hilarious incidents, however it's clear, early on, that Mia has grown. The writing style is more mature, proper decisions are made faster and without misunderstandings, whilst the relationships between the main characters feel deeply rooted.

Wow. So many memories were coming to the surface while reading this. I realised how much I missed the series, the characters, everything. This book made me ecstatically happy, despite the fact that I sobbed every few pages (Mr G. I miss you. RIP). I loved the character development in this, though I prefer Mia as the crazed teenager she was-now,naturally, she appears to be more mature-. Also, Lilly's story arc with her swearing off boys and the getting steamy with Lars just didn't seem fitting to her character. Morevover I found the pregnancy story as well as the sister story to be completely useless . Plus, the stalker was utterly predictable. All in all, Rocky is cute af and Michael remains my one true love forever and always.
I have to go now. Nostalgia hit me again.

I AM KINDA DYING THIS WAS PERFECT IN EVERY WAY!!!! i was sceptical at first like 7ish years later is a huge gap but this DID NOT DISAPPOINT AT ALL!!!!!!!!!!! TO SEE MIA AND MICHAEL AND EVERYBODY SO GROWN UP HAS ME IN TEARS I LOVE THEM ALL SO MUCH LIKE ABSOLUTE SQUAD GOALS???? I DONT WANT TO SPOIL ANYTHING BUT THE WEDDING AND THE SUPRISES AND OLIVIA GRACE AND HER PARENTS AND THE BAHAMAS JUST EVERYTHING WAS AMAZING AND MICHAEL AND MIA ARE SOULMATES AND SO MUCH WAS SO CHAOTIC IN THE MOST EXQUISITE WAY I ENJOYED THIS SO SO SO MUCH!!!!!!!!!! I WOULD DIE MULTIPLE TIMES FOR THIS BOOK!!!!!!!! WHAT A STORY!!!! WHAT AN ENDING!!!!! GOD BLESS!!!!!
It was like being back in high school. Meg Cabot will always be my favourite comfort read. Nothing makes me feel better than unwinding in bed with one of her books.
It was alright- I'd never read any of these and I thought it was alright but not amazing.
Ok, this is the first PD book I've actually enjoyed in a while. Since the second or third in the series, I think.
Mia is slightly less unbearable (though slightly more sex-obsessed), Michael is awesome as ever, and I love new princess Olivia Grace. I had a lot of fun reading it, and catching the little facts about the whole Prince Rashid story that takes place just after The Bride Wore Size 12.
I'd give it a 4.5/5.
