I read this book every year on/around Christmas. Dickens is a master of language and storytelling. There is truly no better story that conveys the meaning of Christmas better than this.

I received a copy of the Audrey version of this book in exchange for a review. 

This novella is short and sweet. It gets right to the point. The old guy is bad, but when shown the error of his ways, he thinks. That’s what we all hope for, right?

The Audrey version has nice narration and good commentary and extra information. I liked the audio commentary on this one and hope for more of that with the other titles I have on my shelf. It is nice to read the classics with a little additional help from an expert.

One of the best stories penned in English, and upon re-reading it I was struck by the richness of the narrative voice, and found myself moved even though I know the story so well.
