2024- we spent our Christmas Eve reading this book aloud, and it was enjoyed by all. This might make a good yearly tradition.

It takes a great mind to come up with this story, to have the ability to put it to paper. 
It is such a classic that has been retold over and over in different ways.

But this book, (as horrible and sacrilege as it is) is not my favorite version.
I was just a little bored, and I guess because I knew what was coming, I found myself just trying to get through certain points to get to the next part.

This is a short but fun classic. Dickens addressed many issues of his day and while this is a fun, light read it also shows how one person can play a part in overcoming poverty.
