I found the FMC to be incredibly annoying as time passed. Getting back with her boyfriend seemed dumb AF and I did not enjoy that the story got dragged out because of that nonsense. I think the MMC also could have utilized more development as a character. I legit forgot about his insecurity about his worth because we barely focused on it. I think it could have been a very interesting plot point but it was not emphasized enough. I also felt like Mom having cancer was out of left field, same with the boyfriend buying a ring. Like yeah. I think they had an okay friendship that probably wouldn't translate to a very good relationship. I mean homegirl had to be told by someone else about her man's insecurities...it seems like that is something she would know based on knowing him for what 6 years. That struck me as very odd. But hey it was also mostly cute. I'm hoping to find a better friends to lovers book before the year ends.

Once you look past the weird pick-me MC and straight people "men and women can't be friends" nonsense, this was a nice listen. The man was super gross and toxic with the whole "I protect this woman from other gross men" thing. and the reason for the breakup in the third act climax was so silly to me. but I listened to it in one day while doing the laundry and it definitely kept me entertained

YES FINALLY, I got out of the spell of bad new adult books. I loved this book so much its not even funny. It's a pretty cliché story but I love them so no shame.
So it's basically about two best friends who consider themselves to be an exception to the belief that a guy and girl can't be just friends. And for six years, they have been one. Until they decide to add a few benefits to their friendship (after a lot of heartbreak and deliberation). And the drama ensues. And it was awesome.
You instantly fall in love with both the main characters, which is always the best way to start out a book. It's a relatively shorter book, so I was done in one sitting. The fact that the protagonists are best friends makes everything 8329 times cuter <3
Blurred lines is just a funny, heart-warming book and it made me feel so much better about life, so if you're looking for that you should pick it up.

¡¡Qué monada!! Jo, lo he disfrutado mucho.

Ok so... I’m still unsure about this. I’m a helpless romantic so I’m always down to read novelas, and friends to lovers is one of my favorite troupe. Still, there were a bunch of things that made me... cringe. But I still enjoyed it.

3/5 stars.
