I was really mad about the whole "I don't love Sonny Flannery." thing, because really I just wanted to read about Kelley and Sonny sharing some lip action. Luckily there is still some hot lip action going on... and Sonny isn't the only one getting some, if you know what I mean...

This is such a marvelous series. Livingston is a brilliant writer... her stories really are a work of art, sometimes I get lost in her descriptions. And I mean that as a compliment.

I think this was probably my least favorite of the series, I still enjoyed reading it, but there was something missing that the other two novels had. Or maybe I just should have re-read the other two books first. Usually I'm great at remembering an entire series even with the gaps in between, but I was a little confused at times durning this novel. And I was a little confused at the build up of Sonny's powers.... what happened with that, one minute he's tied to a tree.... the next he's riding Lucky.... does he still have his powers... did they just dissolve...? I think I was a little disappointed with the climax. The plot was a little slow in the beginning but the last hundred pages were hopping!

That being said, I delighted in this one last adventure with the characters that I had grown to love throughout the series. And even though I am Team Sonny all the way, I couldn't help but develop this soft spot for Fennrys durning the last two novels.

I'm going to miss this series.

And this doesn't have anything to do with the literary merit of this book. But I LOVE the covers for this series! How GORGEOUS is that cover novel. I think she's the perfect depiction of Kelley.

Tempestuous was an entertaining end to a beautifully written series. My advice, buy all three and read them one after the other! I'm very much anticipating Livingston's next novel!

What did I think??

1. Kelley, why the heck did you lie to Sonny??!! Ok, so you had your reasons, but still. It hurt. A lot.*takes a deep breath* I guess I can't really blame you. I would do the same. Who wouldn't?

2. Sonny. Don't you dare be mad at Kelley after all she's done for you. Yes, she lied, but she lied to keep you safe. I mean, like Bob said, you probably scared her to death at the theater. Seriously. I freaked out. (But it was so sweet, so I was mixed between horror and melting into a puddle.)

So to put it simply, Tempestous was the ending that I was waiting for, the perfect ending where everything will end perfectly. Kinda. Okay, so a few problems I had with a few charaters:

1. Fennrys Wolf: Not going to say anything, except this: 'Wow, do we feel so betrayed!'
2. Gwapp au Nudd(or however you spell his name): Not going to say anything, because I know I will start swearing, and I'm not really sure I want to do that right now.
3. Titania. Seriously. Get. A. Life. Are you so bored, that you have to plot against the guy you like?
4. Auberon. Okay, so you were better at the end, but still. I'm still a little pissed at you for taking Kelley's Unseelie gift. At least you gave it back.
5. Mabh. Actually, there's no problems with you(at least not with me) so I'm just going to skip.
6. Bob. Thanks for everything you've done! (Part sarcasm, part truth.)

Lesley Livingston's writing was quite good in this book- in Darklight I felt like it was missing a little something- or perhaps it was just me crying over the ending- but in Tempestuous, I felt like it was complete and lead the story on quite well. By far, it's the most favourite out of the series.

READ THIS BOOK. IT'S GOOD FOR YOU.

Fue un final fantástico para una trilogía igual de fantástica. Lo único que me rompió el corazón en mil pedazos fue esa muerte...

Sad as I am to be finished, I thought this was a great conclusion to a trilogy. I think, on the whole, I found this book the most frustrating but also the most exciting.

There's nothing I hate more than reading a book and have it all figured out halfway through. Luckily, that wasn't the case here. I had some theories by the end of the second book about what was going on and who was behind it. While my suspicions were right to some extent, there were still some surprises thrown my way.

Even though I knew her motivations, I found myself quite frustrated with Kelley at times. However, making wrong and sometimes rash decisions is quite representative of what it's like to be a teenager - faerie or no.

I also quite enjoyed some of the new characters that were introduced in this book, but I mostly loved seeing more of the same characters I've come to love since starting this series.

Overall, I thought this was a refreshing, solid series with strong writing and good characters. I have a feeling I'll definitely be revisiting these characters in the future when I'm looking for a fun, fast and enjoyable read.

I liked the way the series ended. The title of the book is apt. :)

The last thing Kelley Winslow wanted was to push Sonny away, but she's convinced that it'll keep him from falling in the wrong hands. While she's trying to figure out who's after Sonny and harming the Fae monarchies, Sonny unwittingly walks into the Lost Fae's sanctuary-- the only place where they can hide from rogue Janus Guards. Even apart, Kelley and Sonny work together to maintain the Fae world, save their world, and maybe even their love.

I think it's because I've read the books one after the other that I felt a kind of monotonous pace in the final installment. Don't get me wrong-- the book is well written, but I was a little frustrated with Kelley's choices. At some point, she did something, and then asked herself what she'd done. Um...that's what the readers want to know too, Kelley!

I dunno. That part just made me roll my eyes. Another thing was the confusing ending. It felt that there was a chunk of info missing, and I didn't understand the significance of what happened. It was a hurried pace to the happy ending.

Other than that though, it was still good. I still like this trilogy. The characters especially. Puck was just so much fun! I think it's best to take a break between each installment.

It just didn't shine for me. Very predictable. Only part that was unexpected was when Fennrys sacrificed his life for Auberon. Seriously?? It just just... no. You can't do that. A person's got to be killed or murdered.
