This is what I want out of my books: familiarly cliche and tropey but not so familar that I’m bored. That’s what this is. Love it. I will eat it up every time.

However, there should be space for the protagonist to explore relationships outside the one with the male lead. Spice up the dynamic!

Another fun read, to be certain. I think the first book was a little stronger, narratively speaking, but I'm really enjoying the 1920s pastiche. The slow-burn romance is incredibly sweet as well.

A great second book

A great spinoff from other glass series. Another great series worth reading by C. J. Archer. Her books are entertaining.
