Freaking cute christmas book that isn't just a soppy romance.

Really enjoyed the main characters and her struggle. Was especially happy how she bonded with Pheobe because from the writing it was sort of a two peas in one pot sort of situation.

And I mean any book that plays in Edinbrugh is instant bonus point for me, and than revamping and saving a bookshop like hello.

All days are special days. Every day we should feel, I hope, a little grace. And we can use it to bring peace in everything we do, to reconcile and bear quiet witness to our common humanity.
A perfectly cozy book for the days leading up to Christmas, there is depth to the story I wasn't really expecting. The city of Edinburgh feels like an additional character and the descriptions of the hills and buildings and shops made it truly come to life.

This was actually super cute. I got it from Kindle Unlimited and was mostly drawn by the Edinburgh setting (my favorite city thus far) and general seasonal coziness. Was not disappointed and started the second one immediately.

A charming, feel-good Christmas story. This book makes me want to visit Edinburgh at Christmas time.

I quite liked this book! It wasn’t a hallmark Christmas book, and I appreciate that immensely. It was just a delightful read. Gave me a renewed appreciation for someone else’s treasure and interests.
