A charming, feel-good Christmas story. This book makes me want to visit Edinburgh at Christmas time.
I quite liked this book! It wasn’t a hallmark Christmas book, and I appreciate that immensely. It was just a delightful read. Gave me a renewed appreciation for someone else’s treasure and interests.

A cozy, (non religious) Christmasy read set in Edinburgh. Themes of second chances and the bond between sisters. The audio is well done. I really enjoyed it. Solidly good.
The protagonist is a bit prickly, so this was a bit of a slow starter for me, but I will always read a book about a book store in Edinburgh during the holidays.
2.5-3⭐️ | I had such high expectations for this book…super disappointed. I wish we would have seen more of Carmen and Sofia moments. I didn’t enjoy any of the characters, especially not any of the romance options. The only character(s) and moments of the book I enjoyed were Sofia’s children, esp Phoebe and the epilogue warmed my heart, otherwise the entire story felt super flat
I listened to the audio, the story plot was great, the narrator was not good, I had a hard time with the narrator's voices she gave to each character. 3.5 stars, rounding up.
