I really have nothing to say about this book. It was fine? The characters were fine, the setting was fine, the romance was believable. It just didn't have anything special to me. Maybe the level of sexism in the workplace was realistic but I didn't really want to read about it and the climax of the work plot was predictable but also built too suddenly. Like yes romance novels are formulaic so of course they're predictable in that way but I guess I just expected more.

If you liked “The Hating Game”, you’ll dig this.

Quick light read. I love myself a woke man so I enjoyed this.

Would recommend for people who like the cheesy rom-com style books!

Well the whole thing was a bit anticlimactic and predictable, unfortunately.

I loved this book! It was such a fun read which was filled with smart characters, sexy chemistry and a great storyline. I adore how Christina Lauren manage to make readers connect with characters so effortlessly. They all just feel so real and I can't help but connect with them. This book was no different as I loved Evie and Carter and felt that connection even though their lives are the polar opposite of mine! Their relationship was a wonderful rollercoaster with great humour, steamy scenes and some wonderful strength AND vulnerability.
If you are looking for an interesting romance to read, then look no further!

like a poor man’s version of “the hating game”! (this is a compliment.)

A solid book, with some fun twists and troupes I enjoyed. Not my favorite of the CLo books but still really enjoyable!

4 Stars! Evie and Carter are Rom-Com gold! Agents at competing agencies who become competitors when their agencies merge, they begin to sabotage the other in the best ways! But in the end, they have each other’s best at heart and love succeeds. A very enjoyable story! Christina Lauren never fails to entertain!
