This book is so sweet. The artwork is great and the characters feel so real. Is it morally grey? Yes. Did I absolutely love it? Also yes!

if i could rate this book higher i absolutely would its so sweet and cozy and genuine and full of laughs but also very real feelings and depictions of going through life. i really, really adored it!

So many of my interpersonal relationships are/have been total house fires, dude; I'd be RELIEVED if it turned out my lover's major character flaw was that he "borrowed" shit occasionally as a means of exerting control in what is otherwise a freefall of a life. Yes, please. I can handle that.

I'm completely in love with this graphic. It's gorgeous, surprising, and expressive, front to back - not to mention funny! The protagonist's facial expressions fill me with boundless joy. The exam stuff at the end was possibly a little superfluous. All in all, I hugely recommend getting a copy of this. And if you can't buy it, "borrow" it

(I'm suffering from terrible fatigue and daily headaches, lately. Something, something, B12 deficiency. Something, something, this is chronic and I hadnt realised because I just sort of assumed for four years plus that everybody struggles to stand up sometimes and I was just being a baby. Well, I had to pull out of my upcoming trail marathon in August, and I haven't gone running in weeks. Gonna rejoin the tennis club tomorrow, though - if I can face everybody after being away for so long, that is... It's been over a year. A year of ignoring their boring WhatsApp messages! What if they ask me, 'what's new?', and I say, 'oh, not much,' like always? I'll never live that down. I'm so fucking dumb. I'm just here to hit balls and flirt with cuties, and I don't see any cuties around here, do you? ...What do you mean, what about the fatigue? Well, duh. I don't get tired on the court. I only get more awake. Gosh! I knew you wouldn't understand.)

This was an adorable love story with flawed but loveable protagonists. The illustration style really worked for me, I loved the way it conveyed emotions (eg. a page of the MC being "swept away" by a giant wave to show her being hit by emotions for the love interest), and the language use was funny and heartfelt.
I don't read much young adult for a reason, there was a slight lack of depth here for me, but enjoyable nontheless and was great for a chill evening on the sofa.
