The absolute best kind of book. This book (!!!) surprised me… I was ready to feel hard things but not ready for so much cute silly joy and laughter !!!!!!! This is the ticket. This content all day. Completely floored by her talent as a storyteller and illustrator… out of this world.

I’m in awe of the illustration in this book. The way water is used… I’m stunned. She made me feel sooo much! And graphic novels usually access my emotions more quickly but it’s like Lucie painted directly into my body and psyche. I’m so glad I purchased this cuz I will be reading this over and over and I will display it proudly. Best cover ever. Just perfection… everything about it. I love the way platonic and romantic friendship are both highlighted as equal. I just can’t say enough about how much I loved this… phenomenal 💫

I really enjoyed the art but what was funny is that this is a translation from French and they just didnt bother to translate some stuff?? Like the text on the diplomas and other text that wasnt in speech balloons so probably deemed less relevant lol
