I did enjoy this but also didn’t have me hooked?
I’m not a huge fan of the fake dating and friends to lovers trope.
I love Callie’s development as a person and the love she develops for herself throughout this book.
“My lucky color is green because of you,” I admit, the corner of my lip twitching into a shaky half smile. “Because of your eyes. That’s why I wear something green to every game. When you came to my first game, I scored, and I knew it was because you were there. You’re my lucky charm, Firefly, and you always have been. I wear green on the ice so that I’ll always feel like you’re out there with me.”

This book was good, but it felt a little drawn out and too long. The sex scenes also got a little redundant. I enjoyed the first book better

It was a fun and cute read, but I didn't feel that Reese genuinely thought Callie was "always the one".
Otherwise he wouldn't have been with Sienna for so long, or that he very clearly thought of her as a friend in the first part of the book. At least with Callie, it was mentioned she had a crush on him at one point.
Also the firefly nickname literally coming out of nowhere and needing to be given a backstory a couple chapters later was not it.

callie and reese were so so cute omg i’m a sucker for best friends to lovers AND combined with fake dating this book was so good!! they were both so obviously in love with each other and i love that they both kind of knew it from the start but i do wish it wasn’t all super sweet from the beginning and there was a liiitle more drama but overall i loveee
