C'est bien mignon, le début est original avec cette histoire de smoothie, mais il n'y a aucun enjeu, et là je n'ai juste aucun intérêt pour ces gars gentils comme tout, donc next !

This is the first book I read by these authors and in this series. It was really good and fun to read, one you will not want to put down once you start.

Ohmygod, they were roommates.

I had the biggest, dorkiest smile on my face almost the entire time I read this book, which I did in four days as a new record for me (but was also super sad when it was over so quick lol).

Let me preface this with the fact that the first book in this series, “Awfully Ambrose,” is my favorite book at the moment. So I went into this one knowing it probably wouldn’t hit me the same way as book #1 in the series, and while that remained true, it also did NOT disappoint. I loved Harry and Jack and their story, which was just so darn sweet. Harry is lovably clueless, and Jack adores him just the way he is. I loved the way things got resolved, and how the “hard part” didn’t last too terribly long, just like in Ambrose’s story, so I was glad to see the same for this book because I get physically sick when a couple who are meant to be together fight or break up! I also really loved how Tristan calls Harry and Jack “puppies,” because that’s exactly what they are.

As an asexual person, I really liked Harry’s discovery of his demisexuality (or, as he calls it, Jacksexuality) and his openness to exploring new territory despite his propensity for worrying. I loved the gradual development of the two starting slow and building from there based solely on what Harry was comfortable with, but more than anything I loved Jack’s easy acceptance of however Harry may or may not have identified. It was never treated as a big deal, nor did anyone treat Harry differently for it, and it was just who he is. It was really, really nice to see such fantastic rep.

I also loved the appearances by Ambrose, Mia (who I adored), and, most especially, Tobermory. I’ve already begun Tristan’s book and hope there will be more after as this is 100% my new comfort series.

Ok this was just a TEN on the cuteness scale. Harry was obliviously adorable in all his ace/demi glory. I have no idea how someone as sweet and innocent as him could make a living working as Bad Boyfriend Inc. Jack was also ridiculously sweet, despite his and Harrys disastrous meet cute. I mean who meets the love of their life by almost murdering them?

This one was a slow burn and I loved how patient Jack was with Harry. It really made no difference to him whether or not Harry would want to engage in sex. He started falling for him when he thought he was just an adorable ace man. As it turns out to both Jack AND Harrys surprise, Harry likely falls in the demi category as well. Getting to see Harry explore these new feelings for the first time was so fun. He had so much enthusiasm and joy. But I have to say some of my favorite moments of the book were the trips to the OP Shop. Oh Bertyl you evil old woman you. Got to get your kicks somewhere at that age I guess.

I'm excited that Tristan is next. I can't wait for that loveable man whore to fall in love. Say what you want about his extracurricular activities and self awareness, but the man cares about his friends. He has a good heart and I'm dying to read the story about who he gives it to.
