I'm so thankful I don't have to work so hard for everything or suffer so much in winter.

I really enjoyed this one! I loved seeing Laura a little more grown up and helping with the family. Readin this during quarantine was a great idea since the Ingalls mainly doing the exact same thing. I really liked how it did not focus just on the Ingalls but also followed along Almonzo and Royal as well. There was not really anything wowing about this book that could have given it 5 stars but I did enjoy it. I'm a huge train fan so the train content was great lol!

What a life!  I can hardly imagine living through such dire circumstances.

Ma is the biggest jerk.

A really good read for lockdown. Makes you feel grateful. Everytime things get really bad I will think, at least we are not at the burning hay stage.

My gosh this one was good! I felt like I was freezing right along with the whole family!

Another delightful edition to this series. Laura is a great writer than pulls in young and old readers a like and really makes you care about the characters you're reading about. This book probably had the most drama in it for the reason that it was Winter and it lasted seven months and there was hardly any food, but as always it had a fun and heartwarming ending. I'm looking forward to reading the next book in the series as soon as I can. I would recommend this book.
