Clio Evans is one of my go to authors, especially when I'm not feeling reading. Her writing works so well for me. I get sucked into her stories and can never put the books down. This is the second installment in the Citrus Cove series. While you probably could read out of order, the best experience will be to start with book #1 (Broken Beginnings) due to how the suspense elements work in this book. This book moves. We get suspense. We got relationships - romantic, platonic and familial. An MMF romance, this explores bisexuality, navigating a new relationship with multiple partners, and entering a relationship after abuse. There is so much love and tenderness, and of course some kink (this is Clio Evans after all). Cannot wait for book 3 and to continue my journey through Clio's backlist.

Stolen Chances is the 2nd book in the Citrus Cove series. It was a very spicy romantic suspense with small town vibes. It went to places I wasn't expecting with this Poly romance. You definitely need to Broken Beginnings first because the reveals at the end deeply impact the heroine in this book.
Sarah is dealing with the fallout of her ex-husband's actions and doing her best to help her twin son's deal with the trauma. Colt has been pining after Sarah since they were teens, and he even tried to stop her from marrying her horrible ex-husband. He is waiting for the right time to finally pursue her, but he gets motivated to go for her when his best friend's brother, Sammy, starts to show interest. Sarah is interested in both of them and conflicted since she has a history with Colt, and she is also having new feelings for Sammy. Colt and Sammy have also been crushing on each other, so Sammy wants them to all try to be together.
I really loved how the three of them had their individual relationships, along with their dynamic together. They worked together so seamlessly, and there was absolutely no jealousy between them. The spice was next level in this one because both of the men were super kinky.
The suspense got pretty crazy after Sarah has a stalker and is receiving threatening messages. Sammy and Colt are determined to keep her safe, though, and they were all so sweet together.

I was SHOCKED when I went into this book, I had no idea that it was about a poly relationship, but I LOVED it. This book took me for a ride and I was here for it. Sarah was hurt so bad by her ex husband and his brother and she didn’t know how to be happy. Sammy and Colt wanted to be there for her, in more ways than one lol. I loved loved loved Colt and Sammy and how much they loved each other and Sarah. I loved the relationships they had with Sarah’s kids and it was nice to read when the kids started to trust the men around them.
