I honestly expected more. I went into this books expecting to feel so much and even be a little emotinally wrecked, but alas, I barely felt anything. Maybe its me, maybe it was the book. Either way. It was a chore to complete this one. Some of the emotional plot points felt forced, like their only purpose was to elicit a reaction from the reader. The romance just kinda happened, and then it turned into sex for the rest of the book, with little connection / development of the interpersonal relationship between the two MMCs. Their was also a random third act 'break-up' that was a bit annoying.

Hopefully this will be a better read for others than it was for me.

I have way too many book boyfriends now 😂😂😂 but I’m still going to add Archer to the list. I’ve heard so many great things about Archer’s voice and I’m glad I read it 🥹🥹

Archer’s story is really heartbreaking 💔 he went through so much since his childhood and decided to seclude himself after the loss of his mother and dad’s death. And when they all had an accident, he lost his voice 😩😩😩. There were some parts where I couldn’t stop myself from crying because I felt everything he felt and I was so mad about the way people treated him 😭😭😭

And Bree? Damn, what a woman. So much love to give and also a lot of patience 🥹🥹🥹 she treated Archer so well and saw him for who he is. Her love towards him was so powerful 🥺🥺🥺
They both deserved this love ♥️
