The story was pretty average for a romance I didn't find anything special about it and it didn't give me what I usually seek in a romance. There were parts were it was really cheesy and not even the kind of cheesy I like and other parts were cringey for me. Usually I don't mention this in my reviews but this had lots of smut which didn't go well with the story and it made it really unrealistic. You could read it as a plain romance but don't be expecting anything like I did and I personally think there are better things out there.

This book was... I don't even know where to start...
- The beginning of the book was interesting and created some intrigue about Bree's past and PTSD. However, the way it was dealt with PTSD felt off and the reveals about her past were disappointing (Jordan) or... misplaced?
- It had some 'Love at first sight' and 'Fate' elements (personally, I don't like them).
- Didn't really liked the characters, especially in the end of the book. They were acting, for the lack of a better word, stupid.
- Lots of scenes made me cringe (in a bad way)
- Archer's and Bree's romantic relationship seemed off: the dynamic, the interaction, the chemistry. It was okay up until the haircut scene, but since then most of their scenes were bad (there were some nice moments, but they usually got ruined)
- The mc's created too much unnecessary problems in easily changeable situations (which usually were sorted only with interference from others).
- Did not like the end drama.

I found this book on Bookstagram, and I feel it isn't one of the more popular recommendations. I kind of hope it stays that way so I can keep this little slice of perfection to myself a bit longer.
Perfectly spicy, endearing, heartbreaking, and inspiring all rolled into one glorious story. Bonus points for being the fourth book to ever make me cry.
