My first Tijan book. Very good plot line and I saw where the story was headed. Way too many subplots going on they were distracting. Hope it's not a patter in all her books. I'd read her again.
I was enjoying this up until about 40%. By 60% I started skimming. I can’t put my finger on exactly what I didn’t like. I know it’s a college story so the characters are young, but a lot of them felt too immature for their ages. There seemed to be too much drama that wasn’t really necessary and the story was too drawn out.
This book was juvenile as hell but it fit with immature college kids. For the most part it was a good book but....
Throughout the whole book, the feel was kids who have sex with each other, its talked about alot but when it came time for the main characters to have sex, it faded to black.... which just didn't fit the theme of the book at all! I'm all for no sex scenes when it fits.... but this didn't fit.

Other characters kept referring to the FMC as weird. She wasn't weird, she was just immature. She was being strung along by her stepbrother and even though she questioned his motives she still hung out with him because he was "family." I also didn't like the whole "I have mourned my mom yet" story line.

This book is perfect! A good H, an adorable h. I love Summer so much, you will wish she was your best friend! Read until 3 am . Save the day to start this one!
