Another must read from Tijan.

Caden is everything and summer is perfectly feisty and weird and funny. Everything you love about Tijan and then some is in this book. Definitely a must read.

Soo good!

Reading the title had me kinda confused about this book, but Holy Batman get resdy to br on an emotional rollercoaster! I absolutely love this book. I love a good college romance and a step brother trope but this is that and more. No spoilers but WHOA there is soo very good drama and family dynamics that play iut in this story. Very real issues were addressed and you got to see the characters grow and develop. Loved evrything about thid book and I will be recommending this bool to all my friends!

A Tijan book is like a fine wine or good chocolate, to be savored and enjoyed. And I did. As soon as this hit my Kindle, I was antsy to read it, but adulting got in the way. Stupid responsibilities…but as soon as I had a clear schedule I curled up with it, a bottle of cider and dived in. I then quickly cursed myself for waiting even a couple of days. This quickly shot to the top of my list of favorite books.

Summer heads off to college with her head full of dreams only to have them crushed when she finds her stepbrother in bed with someone else. She’s quirky, awkward and basically says whatever comes out of her mouth. At first I thought she was too much of a doormat, but as time went on her personality came out more and she’s now one of my favorite heroines. Caden is absolutely scrumptious. He’s everything you’d expect from a Tijan hero: blunt, gorgeous, and intense. He’s elusive and secretive but when a common dislike of her stepbrother bonds them, a friendship forms. And she begins to blossom.

This book has it all—out of the box friendships, crushes, drama, chemistry, humor. The sexual tension is brimming in this book and when they finally give in? Holy explosion Batman…IT. IS. HOT. I found myself rooting for them. I can’t wait to re-read this, I just wish I could read it again for the first time. Everyone needs to read this book. Everyone. One-click it, now.

First of all, can I just say wow. After only reading the carter reed books by her {which is a way darker series} I still think her writing is amazing. I loved the character development with certain characters. I really like reading about people growing up and realizing how to be mature grown ups and I think this book captured that. The story progression is a bit of a slow burn, but a hot burn. Soon it sets your heart on fire until all you want is more. It had me on the edge of my seat, it made me laugh, cry, scream, and envelop it until the last word. And I still want more.

Now the hard part, how to review a book and talk about all it's awesomeness without any spoilers...

Summer shows up to college early thinking she would be with her stepbrother, Kevin. After a surprising scene before her eyes, she soon realizes that isn't going to happen. She then runs into the panty-melter, Caden. Caden is a member of Kevin's fraternity and is pure man. Probably my dream man. Haha Tall, tattooed, muscular, genuine, and super intense. Summer soon let's herself be just that, herself, with him. And they become friends. I love how quirky this character is. She is hilarious and basically had me rolling on the floor. Not sure what to say without spoiling anything so I shall end my review here. But definitely go read it!

too old for this immature shit.

So so different from what I've started to think of as Tijan's style of writing. I liked it. A lot. Wish it were longer though :)

I absolutely love this book, it is my go to read when I'm in a book funk.
Summer is a freshman in college and only went there to hang out with her di*ckbag step brother. That's how she meets Caden!
Caden is arrogant and an on the surface very shallow, but once Summer and Caden get to know each other, you get to see that there is way more to both of them then what meets the eye.
They are seriously the best book couple ever!!!!

I just loved this book.. Summer was such a goof, all those random nonsensical things she said, just made me love her even more.. and can we talk about Caden? I think I need me some Caden.. you see this Tijan? You ruined all man for me by introducing Caden to me..
