white man goes to europe and returns changed. pack it up duke junior spring

It’s nonfiction and it’s Paulo Coelho, of course I’m going to like it. I wish it would have covered more of his life though — it’s (mostly) a super narrow story of one trip from Amsterdam to Turkey.

It reads well and there are good ideas in there , but I struggle with the concept of the difficult girl falling in love with the writer #yeahright

Hippie was an interesting read! Pauli’s experiences were intense and at times terrifying! I thought his relationship with the Dutch girl was interesting

Im not looking for spiritual guidance from coelho, but I think hes a really good writer. This was very interesting to me specifically due to its autobiographical nature. I think the hippie culture is fascinating and this book did not disappoint in unfolding a tale that held my interest.
