I have to keep reminding myself that Celaena is a literal child because she is the human embodiment of the “oh look it’s the consequences of my actions” meme.

I really enjoyed each of the novellas, but as the relationships grew for our MC, I kept checking in with myself bc we know how Sam plays out and I didn’t want to be wrecked. I don’t think it really mattered though bc it was still devastating. I can’t wait for celaena to finally have some peace. She goes through so much, she’s at Olivia’s benson levels of consistent trauma.
Ready for the next one.
