I'm such an unabashed Taryn Quinn fangirl, it's just a dream come true to read and review their books. And this one was quite the treat. I. LOVED. THESE. CHARACTERS.
Ally (great name btw) is smart, funny, and a fantastic role model for Seth's daughter. (we'll get to them in a moment). She's been through good times and bad with him, and definitely has all the feels - but when he ever-so-nonchalantly asks her to have his baby - she's a bit gobsmacked.
Seth knows Ally would be a great mother to his daughter's sibling. She's already a surrogate to Laurie, and nothing like his ex, which is one of the best qualities EVER. They've known each other all their lives, and taking this step won't shake their firm foundation - right?
Laurie wants a sister. Bad. She loves her Daddy and her Mommy, and she definitely loves Ally. She likes it when Ally comes over and helps her with her bathtimes, because BOYS ARE NOT ALLOWED! She's started having sleepovers with Daddy, and she even saw them kissing once. Hopefully she'll talk to him about getting a sister.
“You can’t make a move like this based on the whims of a three-year-old. It’s not logical. She wants a puppy too. Is that next?”
I was engrossed from beginning to end, and it might be one of my favorite happy reads.
I give it five "empty bubble bath bottle" stars.
Taryn Elliott and Cari Quinn have not only mastered writing in tandem so much so that their by line is not Taryn Quinn, but also crafting deliciously touching and steamy stories and the start of a new series is certainly cause for celebration as part of the enjoyment of reading romance novels is getting to know entire families, teams, rock bands or whatever the subgenre may be, find love and happy endings over the development of several books.
Ally and Seth Hamilton have been best friends for over a decade. They’ve been through thick and thin together, through the birth of Seth’s baby girl, the divorce from his money hungry ex, and now his crazy plan to have no strings attached baby making activities with her in order to have another child in exchange for him paying Ally’s college education?
Seth has lost his marbles! How could she ever have a baby with the man she’s loved since she met him and then walk away? Besides, the possibility of him never returning the sentiment terrifies her as does moving out of the friend zone and risk losing both him and his daughter who she loves as her own. But Seth is determined to convince her and while attempting to do so he discovers what’s been in front of him the whole time.
Have My Baby delivers heavy doses of quick wit banter and sexiness where the steamy bits fried my eReader. Though Seth and Ally come from significantly different backgrounds, their deep connection keeps you rooting for them from start to finish. Thought their road to a happy ending dominated the story, the authors populate the tale with charming characters, from Seth’s adorable daughter Laurie, to Ally’s other best friend Sage who is desperately looking for love.
Have My Baby is book #1 of the Dirty DILFs series by Taryn Quinn. It is standalone contemporary romance. Whether you’re a fan of the friends to lovers trope or not, this a story will make you fan yourself and smile. Told from both points of view with a happy fairy tale ending.

Started at the end and had to back track
Omg! Love this series. This is the 2nd book in the series I read. Taryn writes the best sex scenes, hands down! These two were too annoying and adorable. I loved my best friend. I didn’t get him, like Ally Cat did, but a girl can dream... and read romance books.
Love it Taryn! Keep them coming!

Forever friends to lovers!!
Ally and Seth have been best friends forever and never want that to change but as his paternal clock nudges him more to give his daughter a sibling he looks more to his bff to help him out. The banter and chemistry leap off the page. Just enough steam and heart to keep you enthralled. Great read

Another booktok rec. I read this bc I was lowkey in a reading slump and I needed something silly and a quick read.
The book was fairly predictable and amusing. I did enjoy the chemistry between Seth and Alley, it didn't feel forced. Laurie was cute and Sage and Oliver were good side characters. I liked the author's writing style.
What I didn't like was how naive and daft Alley and Sage were when it came to sex, like I get it they're virgins but bitch they're nearing 30, like ain't no way they're that oblivious. I also didn't like that Seth came up with this contract to satisfy his 4yr old bc she wanted a sibling and he couldn't tell her no. Alley was constantly running away and it's like girl WHAT IS YOU DOING? I didn't like that Alley was waiting on Seth for all those years meanwhile he was whoring himself away like nah they couldn't let my girl get some too?
Overall it was a predictable friends to lovers, baby of convenience? Lol the spice/smut was good too.

Ok, this was pretty comical. Only a guy can fumble up asking his best friend to let him knock her up by contract. It took almost half the book for Seth to realize how badly his proposal sounded, but it didn't change the fact that he still wanted a baby with Ally. He wants his daughter to have siblings and he can't think of any woman better for providing said siblings. It also opened his eyes to his true feelings for her and unlocked his libido. If she wasn't so skittish and running away all the time, he might actually convince her this was a good idea. Despite their years of being friends only, once Seth started looking at Ally like a woman, his attention to her was pretty hot. Little 4 year old Laurie was adorable and to see Seth be such a good dad to her was even hotter. This was a funny story that turned super cute at the end. This was my first read from this author and I was completely entertained. I will be checking out more books from her. ARC provided by NetGalley.

Sassy!
A fun, quirky & sassy rom-com from the bestselling author, Taryn Quinn. Well... that’s not 100% true. Oh, don’t get bent out of shape, the fun & sassy part is true, it’s the author that’s not. This book is written by TWO bestselling author’s, Taryn Elliott & Cari Quinn. Yep, this duo combined their talents and creativity to pen books under one name. Good, now that part is settled. Phew!
The Crescent Cove series has a long list of characters, but only a small portion are introduced in this first book. There is a list at the end, but if you don’t like secrets revealed, then skip right on past those pages.
In this first story, it gets a tad redundant on the background details and the wavering back and forth between the main characters Ally & Seth, so I found myself skimming through those parts. The wavering could’ve been written better to create angst, but it just doesn’t get there. There is a bit of steamy passion, but nothing crazy. It’s sweet mixed with cheeky and sexy. All in, this was a good book for my bedtime reading. I’d recommend to anyone looking for a book that brings the sweet, sassy & sexy to your afternoon or nighttime reading.
