Victoria is a divorced mother, working, going to school, helping her mother who is recently diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis, and raising a seven year old daughter, Jade.

Reed is single, has been working with the Big Brother/Sister organization, and helping Henry, his "little brother" to do things.

We've got "The Mean Moms" who like to bully Victoria, the nasty ex husband who demands things, and the ex husband's former best friend and best man...

I like Jade and Henry. I like mom with MS, cause she doesn't put up with ex son in laws bull poop!

Boring- just boring . Lost my interest as it went on and the male character as done by the narrator had no personality.

Victoria is a single woman who lives in L.A with her seven year old daughter and she works as an assistant of Jagger Kale (“Domestic Bliss" by Piper Rayne). She sacrificed her career to raise her daughter and followed her husband so that he could have follow his dream by being a lawyer. But at some point they divorced because he wasn't really there for Jade and Victoria plus he cheated on her. One day she found out that her mom is sick so she decided to quit her job and to move out to Chicago to help her. Thanks to her boss Jagger, she got a new job as an assistant in the RISE foundation with Hannah (you may have heard of her from "Mister Mom" if you read it, overwise you have to â˜ș) and Chelsea (Skylar’s cousin in "Break the Ice'').

Usualy monday sucks, but not for Victoria, because one monday morning as she dropped off her daughter to school, she saw Reed Warner, the best man of her ex-husband at her wedding. Now they see each other every monday.

Reed is a kind guy, gentle, funny, and obviously a teaser. I really love the way they exchange, for example when Victoria says « I’m not your girlfriend » and Reed replies « Yet » and then she answers « Never ». The banter « Yet » « Never » is a thing between them that makes this story even more lovable.

Is Victoria really ready for a new relationship ? Is she willing to let a man in her life again even if she wants to think about herself first?
To know this you really must read this book and as you can imagine I recommend it for sure. Be ready for this beautiful book.

It’s always a pleasure to read a new story that involves other characters from books you read before. It’s the beautiful power of Piper Rayne that always makes you want to read more and more.

It was just okay. The ending felt really rushed and I wish there was more of an explanation for things that happened with the friendship fallout, what happened between the last chapter and the epilogue, etc.
