I wanted to like the book, but the jump of 20 years felt kind of disconnected. I wish there was some time when frankie was in college not too long after that summer and build up to 20 years later. That amount of time in between felt like the fixation of the poster was forced or a little unrealistic. I think some of the stuff over the summer felt cringe worthy, but for teenage characters it made sense. I think it was a decent book, but not something I would reread.

This wasn’t horrible, but I really just didn’t get the plot. It didn’t seem believable at all that these posters two teenagers made would cause such widespread panic & that Frankie would be obsessed with this meaningless phrase that she made up 20+ years after the fact. The synopsis is basically the whole book & maybe this would’ve done better as a short story but it just wasn’t for me.
