This is AMAZING and you should read it. It's like Pinky and The Brain mashed up with Invader Zim but starring cats and a talking litter box. I laughed out loud repeatedly. It's SO GREAT! Also a good rec for Dog Man fans.

I wasn't super into this one but there were panels that made my 9 year laugh until she cried, so that was pretty awesome.

I got an ARC of this comic to review it, I was not expecting much, and was incredibly surprised! Sparks tells the story of August and Charlie, two very cute cats who survived and then a escaped from cruel animal testing. Once they got their freedom August, who is exceptionally smart, and Charlie, who is exceptionally brave, created a dog suit they use to help save humans in their city. Little do they suspect that the creatures who abducted and experimented on them, are now looking to recapture them to complete their dastardly plan! And every time they bravely go to save someone new their captures draw closer to them. Charlie and August were fun characters to go on this journey with, I enjoyed each of them and their dynamics. I found the story clever and original, and felt the suspense of possible danger while enjoying the story. Would recommend.

Yes, this book is as fun as it looks. August & Charlie zoom around town together in a robotic dog suit saving people from peril and will win you over in no time - especially if you enjoy cat jokes and bickering genius types a la Pinky and the Brain. The real star, however, is their loyal servant and sidekick: a sentient litter box robot. Ian Boothby (Futurama, The Powerpuff Girls, The Simpsons, etc) writes snappy, hilarious dialogue and provides the page-turning how're-they-gonna-make-it-out-of-this-one quality of any good action comic, taking care to weave in lessons on friendship and acceptance along the way.

This is GREAT FUN. Let’s be real, cats > dogs! Superhero cats who save many days... baby down a well, a tornado chasing a school bus and so much more! Not only are these cats superheroes but they have interesting back stories too! This was loads of fun and made me chuckle a fair few times! I think my kids will love this! Artwork by Nina Matsumoto is just amazing too.

This is just plain adorable. It's perfect for fans of Binky and other graphic novels by Ashley Spires who are ready to move on to slightly more difficult texts. It's loaded with humor, but that evil baby is hilariously perfect.
