Cute story of a pair of escaped lab animals, the cats August and Charlie, and their sentient litter box. I read this for my 2018 Reading Challenge.

This fast-paced sci-fi comedy had my students cheering like they were at a football game. Highly recommended for reluctant readers!

I wasn't super into this one but there were panels that made my 9 year laugh until she cried, so that was pretty awesome.

Childrens graphic novel. Genre: sci-fi/adventure. Two cats are determined to have their chance to save the day, so they work together to create and operate a robotic dog suit when there is danger. We find out that they have escaped from an animal testing lab, and their dog suit is made up of the factory worker suits. The team that ran the lab has not left the scene yet, and a creepy alien baby is using her two henchman to try to take over the world. A fast-paced, superhero romp that seems to be starting a new series. Bright colors and varied page layouts add visual interest.

This hilarious all-ages comic had me at the first panel: "I'm a litter box. This is my story."

The humor in this is so sarcastic and amazing. I’m not sure if it might go over the kids’ heads a bit, but the frenetic pace is amazing and I loved the whole thing!

My 7 year old daughter has read this over. And over. AND OVER.

At least once a day since her brother got it for Christmas (she stole it immediately). I was a little worried it might be a bit too scary, because there were a lot of scenes of animals looking scared and being experimented on. But she was fine with all of it. It's a really cute story with great art. Her 5 year old brother seems enthusiastic, generally, when he's gotten to see it, but he might be a little young for it.

Hilarious! I laughed out loud more than once. But it also chose not to sacrifice characterization for cheap gags, which I appreciate. I have already been recommending it widely and will continue to do so.
