Y’all, “Mother Pucker” is one of the sweetest, steamiest, most hilarious hockey romances I ever read. The insta-attraction that Rowan has for Shayla is so swoon-worthy! Rowan’s love for Kai, Shayla’s son, just melts my heart. Ad with all of the other Mom Com books, Mother Pucker isn’t low on spice… YES, please! Again… I’ve found yet another new favorite author, Swati M.H. Put this one in your TBR ASAP, or better yet, read it right now!!

This book had me laughing out loud with the next moment sighing over how swoon-worthy Rowan was. I could not put this book down once I picked it up. It had everything I wanted and needed in a single mom rom-com including he fell first. Still loving this entire series.

Mother Pucker is the third book in the MomComs series and I loved this book so much. I love how each of these books is written by a different author and yet they flow so seamlessly into one another. This story follows Shay and Rowan.

Beckett is quickly becoming my favourite character in this series. His meddling is top notch and leaves me in fits of feet kicking and giggling.

I adored Shay's character. Shay, after the tragic loss of her husband, copes by trying to control and limit all risks in her and her son's life. I love the healing journey she is on in this story and the role Rowan plays in helping her to relax her rules and learn to enjoy life again.

Rowan "Slick" Parker. Where do I start. He is book boyfriend material. A sweet alpha with a dirty mouth that will make you swoon. He made this book for me. The witty banter and his chemistry with Shay were perfect.

Thank you to the Author Agency and Swati M. H. for the ARC copy of Mother Pucker. I am voluntarily leaving an honest review.

  • What stresses out a widowed single mom? High fructose corn syrup. Shay is said mom. After her husband dies of cancer, she’s left alone and scared. But she has three best friends who live and support each other, and they all move in together to raise their kids. Till 2 partner up. Now it’s Shay’s turn. At a hockey game, she helps out her bff’s finance by using her physical therapist skills to help a hockey player. He falls for her, she falls for him, there’s comedy, there’s drama, there’s doubts, but ultimately, there is love.
  • This book had me laughing so hard I woke up my husband at 3 am. He was disgruntled but I was happy. I have adored the mom com series, and I just love how they tie in so seamlessly! 4 stars!

SpoilerI'll scream it from the rooftops: THIS SERIES IS SO GOOD! It truly has it all. In this book, Shayla and Rowan are so beautiful together. I love that Shayla's anxieties aren't used as a crutch or excuse; She's still loved and appreciated. I really loved how her trauma from losing/watching her husband lose his battle to cancer was explained as the cause and how she worked through them. My favorite was how her husband wasn't demonized despite Shay giving up so much of who she was to be what he wanted, and her son needed - AND I LOVE THAT ROWAN BROUGHT HER BACK TO HERSELF. 4 stars because the confrontation between Rowan and his dad seemed unnecessary. I love Rowan, but Shay annoyed me a bit.
