She has done it again. The atmospheric writing that has me begging for more, a character driven plot, and that sense of family that always makes me sigh and feel like I'm home within the pages. V.E. proves time and time again to me that she is for sure my favorite author.

Atmosphere- and vibe-driven rather than plot or character, but this book isn’t any less for it. The writing is beautiful and rich in imagery without being flowery, the story is haunting, and the audiobook narrator wonderful. Really enjoyed this one, even though I’d have a hard time describing the plot to you.
