Awwww! I love this series so much!! I'm not going to read the 16th book because i don't want to end it yet! But I read this book, and I realized how much I'm going to miss their fights and jokes. It's so sad!

This vol. 3/5 the series 5/5
A bit of a let down as the finale of an incredible series. I did like how you see that both Risa and Otani were destined to be together is sweet

SPOILER: the last conflict was unnecessary and does a disservice to Otani, I mean after 2 yrs of him doing really sweet things on Risa's birthday and after a year of dating he forgets??? I don't buy that.

This was a really refreshing shoujo comedy-romance! It was way more comedy than it was romance, but whatever romantic scenes were there, felt incredibly relatable and hit you right in the feels. The chemistry between the main leads was the best I have seen in any shoujo romance. The manga did have its fair share of convoluted love triangles, squares, and other shapes, but each character had depth and their own quirky personality. The side characters were actually important to the plot and weren’t tossed aside whenever convenient, which was one thing I really appreciated.

Another thing I found different was the main character, Risa. She was very different from your typical shoujo heroine, and her personality had me in stitches. Plus, as I have already mentioned, the chemistry between the leads is iconic, and their friendship was as satisfying to watch as their budding romance.

The writing is so good, that even cliché scenes were transformed into something totally original and hilarious. All in all, this is one of the most unique, funny, and relatable high school romance manga I have come across. Tens across the board!

Extra volume prequel+epilogue in one. Wasn't particularly necessary but also didn't mind it. I wish Nakahara showed some more progression in Koizumi&Ootani's relationship, it felt way too similar to the way they acted before they even got together. Ah well, it was cute tho.

This was a cute installment. I enjoyed seeing Otani and Risa before they knew each other. I also liked Yoshi and thought it was cool how he introduced both characters to Umibozu. The whole fated to be together. Loved it!

I can't tell you how much I loved this series. I was so sad to finish it; volumes 16 and 17 sat in my "to-read" pile for three weeks before I picked them up. If I pick 'em up, the story will end! It was very much like leaving the last chapter of a new favorite book until you couldn't take it anymore. These characters were fantastic - Risa was incredibly relatable, at least for me. Otani was a lovable idiot, and their group of friends really helped highlight their relationship and helped them through every little problem. The pacing was just right, and the script was delightfully funny, uplifting, and (in some parts) quite moving. It was great to find a true romantic comedy among all the over-the-top shoujo manga that's out there today. I don't think I'll find another series as great as this one anytime soon, and that makes me sad. You were wonderful, Love*Com.
